My name's Jet like the stone, Jet Black like my hair. And here I am about to make the biggest decision of my life. Choose my only love to die or for myself. The time slowly goes by, but my heart's going a million beats a second. His bright green eyes stare directly and pleadingly into my red. But I'm going too fast for you; I'll bring you up to speed.
I was born and raised by evil scientists who altered the genes of innocent children. They always say I'm lucky; after all I am the only experiment of my kind left. All of them were "weak" except for one who I thought would be a contender, his name was Omega. This boy was the strongest, fastest, and the smartest out of all of us. His demise, he was killed by another mutant but she had wings and flew high above our heads. Omega was surely missed in his cell block and especially by me. As time went on, the remorse I had faded and it became an old weakness. And once that left me forever, my true strength shown, the whitecoats said that I was ten times stronger, faster, and smarter than Omega would have been. But I had a little problem, the whitecoats' goal was to have a completely bulletproof subject and I wasn't, completely, only a few spots were vulnerable. I knew that could and would be the cause of my retirement. For the next week or so, I've heard gun shots and the pang of metal. I didn't know what that means until it was too late.
That day I heard the final gunshots and then loud cheers of success, a surgery is going to happen. The thought of this made me stay up the entire night. Though I was dead tired, I was finally prepared to accept it was my turn. The erasers came put my cage on a metal cart and took me to an OR. That's the last thing I remembered from that. When I woke up, I felt certain areas with a cold, hard, and smooth feel to it. Those whitecoats saved me from retirement, though I assumed because I was the last of my kind and someone wants to use me.
My silly premonition was right. A humongous company called Itex made the largest offer beating all of the countries' who wanted a new human weapon. But turns out, I was going to be a weapon for them too! Not much to do when you're being loaded into a helicopter leaving the only place you've known since birth. What I've heard from the big burly men its "good to have a change in environment."
Once I got to my new prison, they worked me to the bone for the next three years. They've been preparing me for the biggest mission of their lives. After the longest three years, I get to go on this mission. When I found out I'm only observing something at a high school, I was so angry I wanted to kick someone with my metal foot. But, I didn't. Off to another beginning of my life.
